âThe way you dress matters a lot and whether you want to be remembered or noticed; choose an outfit that suits you and looks classy. Beauty and confidence go hand in hand; believe in yourself; walk with your head held high and those around you will always remember you, âsaid Stéphanie Rivoal, French Ambassador to Uganda.
She added: “Tonight we are going to see beautiful people wearing very beautiful fashion designs that you are going to see from designers and beauty comes in.”
âThis gives the opportunity to connect with people from different cultures and also to support new upcoming designers who show up on the runway and also have a platform to sell our products,â said Emmanuel Bagwana, Creative Director Eguana Kampala.
The event had designers who understood; Josephine Nakafeero, Martin Larry, made in Africa (Madouce) du Gabon, Rise up Hub (Donnas Ojok), Lilian Kyabaki, Anita Beryl, Stella Atal (Ugandan designer based in France), Aude Langlois – Meurinne, Academic Collaboration Records and Lisaa Fashion Uganda School.
