Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour for 2022 announced

Coldplay will be on tour in 2022, supporting their new album, Music of the Spheres. The tour begins in March 2022 and will feature shows in Central America, the United States, Germany, Poland, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Additional dates are also expected to be announced as the group tour for the first time since 2016-17.

The group also announced their intention to shoot in a sustainable manner, aiming for minimal impact on the climate and the environment as part of the central goals of their race in the stadium.

“Playing live and connecting with people is ultimately what we exist as a band. We have been planning this tour for years and are very excited to be playing songs all of our time together, ”the band said in the announcement of the tour on the Live Nation website.

“At the same time, we are very aware that the planet is facing a climate crisis. So we’ve spent the past two years consulting with environmental experts to make this tour as sustainable as possible and, just as important, to harness the potential of the tour to get things done. We won’t be successful in doing everything right, but we are committed to doing all we can and sharing what we learn. It is a work in progress and we are truly grateful for the help we have received so far.

“If you would like to come to a show and sing with us, we are happy to see you. “

Coldplay’s tour dates will begin with a performance on March 18 at the Estadio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica. Other dates for March include Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, followed by Monterrey and Guadalajara, Mexico. After a date of April 3 in Mexico City, the group moves to the United States until April, May and June. Stadiums in the United States include Levi’s Stadium and SoFi Stadium in California, State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Soldier Field in Chicago, Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

European dates follow throughout the summer, including three shows at Wembley Stadium in London. Currently announced dates end with Rock in Rio in September, but the group is reportedly planning to announce additional dates.

HER will serve as the opening act for much of the Coldplay tour, including all US dates. Other dates will be supported by London Grammar.
